L&#8217;asturi\u00e0, co-pilotat per Salvador Belzunces, va aconseguir imposar-se en l&#8217;edici\u00f3 de 2016 despr\u00e9s de recuperar una penalitzaci\u00f3 d&#8217;1 minut i, aix\u00ed, aconseguir la vict\u00f2ria absoluta de la prova inaugural del Campionat d&#8217;Europa FIA de Ral\u00b7lis Hist\u00f2rics, a m\u00e9s dels Campionats de Espanya i de Catalunya de l&#8217;especialitat de velocitat amb vehicles hist\u00f2rics. Alonso tornar\u00e0 a Girona amb el seu Ford Sierra Cosworth 4&#215;4 amb l&#8217;objectiu de tornar a pujar a l&#8217;esgra\u00f3 m\u00e9s alt del podi.
