Amb el seu BMW M3 fabricat el 1988, la parella Spillebeen-Casier afegir\u00e0 espectacle a les carreteres de la prov\u00edncia de Girona. Durant una d\u00e8cada, Geert ha estat un habitual al seient de copilot en els ral\u00b7lis hist\u00f2rics on Spillebeen ha participat, sent el franc\u00e8s Rallye National des Routes du Nord Historique la primera prova en qu\u00e8 van competir junts.
