The first edition of RallyClassics Africa, which will take place from 16th to 21st September 2023 in the Merzouga and Erfoud region (Morocco), continues to confirm details of its program.
With the aim of offering logistical proposals that facilitate the transfer of vehicles and teams, RallyClassics has reached an agreement with the shipping company GNV to offer special rates for this edition.
GNV (Grandi Navi Veloci) is one of the main shipping companies in the Mediterranean Sea and has different high-capacity ferries that connect Spain, France and Italy with Morocco.
The incorporation of GNV as a partner of RallyClassics Africa will allow the teams to enjoy routes adjusted to the needs of the event, among which are:
- Barcelona – Nador, departing on 11th September and returning on 24th September.
- Sète (France) – Nador, departing on 8th September and returning on 24th September.
There will be other alternative routes that will be confirmed soon.
RallyClassics Africa is a regularity rally-raid for classic cars and Open (modern cars) created by RallyClassics. 5 stages through the Erfoud and Merzouga region, with approximately 700 kilometers of regularity (900 km total) define the route of this edition, created with the aim of becoming the benchmark for rally-raids in preparation for the Dakar Classic, Africa Eco Race and other similar events.
