Carello siegte 1978 am Steuer seines Lancia Stratos HF \u201ePirelli\u201c bei der Rally Costa Brava und gewann gemeinsam mit seinem Kopiloten Maurizio Perissinot auch die europ\u00e4ische Rallyemeisterschaft. Der italienische Fahrer kommt also 39 Jahre danach erneut zur legend\u00e4ren Veranstaltung der Costa Brava, um mit einem Nachbau seines Lancia Stratos HF Gr.4 \u201ePirelli\u201c in der Kategorie Legend an der Rallye teilzunehmen.
