For the second consecutive year, Palam\u00f3s will host the Costa Brava Historic Rally, held from 19 to 22 April 2018. This relationship of the Girona town and the regularity rally for classic vehicles is especially significant in what will be the XV edition, given that the FIA \u200b\u200bhas decided with RallyClassics, that this is the test that proclaims the Champion of the “FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies”, the authentic European championship of this specialty, which attracts the best specialists in the world.<\/p>\n
Thus, receiving the honor of being the only scoring event for the European specialty, the XV Costa Brava Historical Rally will have a total of 1,037 km with 28 sections, being 50% regularity, characteristics of an itinerary that will remain secret until shortly before its celebration.<\/p>\n
As the headquarters after the alliance signed by a triennium last year, Palam\u00f3s will host most of the events of the competition, from the verifications, closed park, exit podium, village, a stage show, the end of stage and the act of awarding of prizes, in addition to placing in the municipality the career management office, in the well-known Hotel Trias, and the accommodation of the organization and of all the participating teams.<\/p>\n
Precisely, the administrative and technical checks will take place on April 19, as well as the “Welcome Tapas Rally Palam\u00f3s”, with a selection of the most appreciated products of the area.<\/p>\n

The start of the race will take place from this location at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20 from the podium installed on the seafront. This first stage will end for the first participant already in the middle of the night, at 02.55 the next day. On the same day, corresponding to Saturday, April 21, the second stage will begin at 11 am; both beginnings of the stage will start with a show stage. The rally will finish at 23.45, with a buffet that will be served in the same park.<\/p>\n
The novelties of this year are to the liking of all the parties that participate in the good development of the test. The FIA \u200b\u200bmanages to focus all the attention on a rally that is very popular with the participants who follow the European Championship and who help to complete a list of registered riders with a spectacular machine park. This makes RallyClassics proud that this year has ‘the exclusive’ and is rewarded the effort of an organization always very well valued. For Palam\u00f3s, being a protagonist of the Costa Brava Historic Rally also means to deseasonalise a wide range that the city always has and, with it, to be in a specialty that until last year was not associated with it.<\/p>\n
