When we are just 3 months away<\/strong> from the first edition of RallyClassics Africa (16th-21st September 2023)<\/strong>, confirmations of teams that join the new regularity rally-raid organized by RallyClassics continue to arrive.<\/p>\n

The participation of more than 20 teams<\/strong> has already been confirmed, and among them the legendary Seat Toledo Marathon by Seat Hist\u00f3ricos will stand out<\/strong>, which will return to competition to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its debut, with Antonio Rius\/Carles Jim\u00e9nez at the wheel. It will be a unique opportunity to enjoy one of the brand’s most iconic cars.<\/p>\n

In addition, Seat will complete its presence at RallyClassics Africa with other vehicles that will be announced soon.<\/p>\n

Registration is open until the end of August or until reaching the limit, set at 50 teams in this first edition. Come and join us!<\/p>\n

Admitted vehicles<\/strong><\/h3>\n

  • Classics:<\/strong> 4\u00d74 and Trucks manufactured up to the year 2000 (similar to the Dakar Classic)<\/li>\n
  • Open (Regularity for modern vehicles):<\/strong> SSV, Proto and 4\u00d74<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Open vehicles will not qualify for the general classification of RallyClassics Africa.<\/p>\n

    A route with varied terrains has been worked on, perfect for 4×4 vehicles from all eras, including original classic vehicles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    RallyClassics Africa route<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    The route will include:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • 5 stages (1 of them spending the night in the desert haimas).<\/li>\n
    • Route through the region of Merzouga and Erfoud (Morocco).<\/li>\n
    • 900 km approx. of itinerary.<\/li>\n
    • 700 km approx. of regularity.<\/li>\n
    • 6-hour daily stages.<\/li>\n
    • 2 dune navigation zones.<\/li>\n
    • Average maximum 60 km\/h.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
