The seventy-fourth edition of Spain\u2019s oldest rally, organised by RallyClassics, will take place from 5 to 7 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>This year, it will not only be the first major European historic rally of the season, but also the starting point of a new era. In 2026, the FIA European Historic Rally Championship (FIA EHRC) will feature three overall championships: Pre-1992, Pre-2000 and Gravel. The 74 Rally KH-7 Costa Brava will open the FIA EHRC Pre-1992 and Pre-2000 championships, while also scoring towards the Spanish Historic Rally Championship (CERH) and the Catalan Historic Rally Championships.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1-8.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-53002 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1_-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"669\" height=\"446\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1_-8.jpg 900w, https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1_-8-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1_-8-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 669px) 100vw, 669px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The introduction of the new FIA EHRC Pre-2000 category will allow iconic Kit Car and WRC vehicles \u2014 which defined the history of rallying (and the Rally Costa Brava itself) during the second half of the 1990s \u2014 to compete and score points at the 74 Rally KH-7 Costa Brava. While the rally cannot grow further in terms of entries \u2014 more than 200 teams are expected \u2014 it will undoubtedly increase in quality thanks to these new categories.<\/p>\n<p>Major international names from the world of motorsport are therefore expected, following in the footsteps of the previous edition, which featured global stars such as Jari-Matti Latvala (event winner and current European champion) and Romain Dumas.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-52998 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1_-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"669\" height=\"446\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1_-4.jpg 900w, https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1_-4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1_-4-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 669px) 100vw, 669px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At present, more than 130 vehicles are already registered, including spectacular Peugeot 306 Maxi Kit Cars, as well as Lancia Rally 037, BMW M1 Procar, Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evo 2, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, and several BMW M3 and Porsche 911, among many others. A true moving museum of rally history in action, across both Sporting and Regularity categories.<\/p>\n<p>As tradition dictates, the 74 Rally KH-7 Costa Brava will pay tribute to another chapter in the event\u2019s rich sporting heritage. Spain\u2019s leading brand in kitchen cleaning and stain-removal products reaffirms its commitment to sport, supporting the rally as well as renowned athletes such as Laia Sanz, Isidre Esteve, Edgar Canet, chef Nandu Jubany, and the KH-7 Ecovergy Team truck, all of whom compete in the Dakar 2026. These are roads perfectly suited to historic vehicles: well paved, technical and without excessive speeds. The itinerary of this seventy-fourth edition preserves the full essence of the event, featuring all of its iconic stages. Sporting participants will receive the starting signal on Thursday evening with the popular night stage at the Santuari dels \u00c0ngels, just outside Girona.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-52997 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1_-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"669\" height=\"446\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1_-3.jpg 900w, https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1_-3-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rallyclassics.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/74-rally-kh7-costa-brava-ndp-1_-3-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 669px) 100vw, 669px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the regularity teams will join the competition, and all participants will complete two loops through the Els \u00c0ngels, Santa Pellaia curt and Salions \u2013 Sant Grau curt stages, with a total distance greater than that of the previous edition. On the one hand, Girona will host the parc ferm\u00e9 and the starts of each of the three legs from the podium. This is also where the prize-giving ceremony will take place on Saturday, 7 March.<\/p>\n<p>In Fornells de la Selva, the popular Service Park will be installed, where vehicles will regroup on Friday and Saturday between the two daily loops through the stages.
