<\/span><\/p>\nThis motorsport test, which takes place in April, scores\u00a0for the European Championship of its specialty and gathers\u00a0participants from the leading\u00a0teams in the world. Palam\u00f3s will host, among others, verifications, ‘parc ferm\u00e9’, the start podium, a show\u00a0stage, prize giving ceremony, apart from centralizing the\u00a0management office of the rally\u00a0and participants’ accommodation. The test is composed by about\u00a01,000km divided into several sections to be placed throughout\u00a0the regions\u00a0of Girona and Barcelona.<\/p>\n
The town\u00a0of Palam\u00f3s will host from next year the prestigious Rally Costa Brava Hist\u00f2ric. The City Council of the town and the rally\u00a0organizers, RallyClassics, have agreed to set Palam\u00f3s as the headquarters of this prestigious motorsport event for the next three editions. The Rally Costa Brava Hist\u00f2ric, a reference of classic regularity rallies in the country, will hold its 14th edition in 2017.<\/p>\n
The next Rally Costa Brava Hist\u00f2ric, first-ever based in Palam\u00f3s, will take place between the 20th and the 22nd of\u00a0April 2017 and will be a\u00a0scoring\u00a0test for\u00a0the “FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies”.\u00a0The genuine European championship of this specialty, which will attract the best specialists in the world.<\/p>\n
Palam\u00f3s will host\u00a0most of the events of the competition, from the checkups, ‘parc ferm\u00e9’, podium, Village, show stage, final stages and the prize giving ceremony, apart from locating permanently the managing office of the rally and the accommodation for all the participant teams.<\/p>\n Regarding the announcement of the new home of the rally, the mayor of the town, L\u00fa\u00eds Puig, highlights “the decision of the town aims to keep adding valuable activities to our calendar such as this rally, in order to maintain the good name of Palam\u00f3s and to hold a wide range of events during the whole year”<\/em>.<\/p>\n Alex Romani, CEO\u00a0of RallyClassics added that “we were looking for a new venue which brought excitement and new colours to the\u00a0Rally Costa Brava Hist\u00f2ric to maintain\u00a0its stability, specially in the sports area, and provide all the potential this event can give in return.
