Il avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 particip\u00e9 \u00e0 cette \u00e9preuve en 2015 avec le m\u00eame v\u00e9hicule, une Lancia Rally 037. \u00c0 cette occasion, le Fran\u00e7ais avait d\u00fb abandonner l\u2019\u00e9preuve \u00e0 cause d\u2019un contretemps m\u00e9canique, apr\u00e8s avoir termin\u00e9 les deux premiers tron\u00e7ons avec un score qui lui promettait de d\u00e9crocher le titre. Il sera sans aucun doute l\u2019un des meilleurs candidats \u00e0 la victoire sur ce rallye. Son palmar\u00e8s en dit long\u00a0: Vaison a remport\u00e9 de nombreux rallyes de v\u00e9hicules classiques et modernes, notamment en 2016 le Rallye International de Bourgogne C\u00f4te Chalonnaise, le Rallye R\u00e9gional des Gueules Noires ou encore le Cap Corse Historic Rally.
