Sur le plan sportif, Jos\u00e9 Luis Marc\u00f3 a r\u00e9ussi son coup de poker, en remportant le championnat dans la cat\u00e9gorie des voitures. Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 des motos, le nouveau champion est Juan Carlos Mart\u00edn, qui a lui aussi d\u00e9croch\u00e9 la victoire sur le Circuit de Barcelone-Catalogne.
