Exceptional vehicles, legendary roads, and stunning locations. This is the formula that has made the Rally Costa Brava Històric a benchmark event among Europe’s regularity rallies. The impressive start of its 22nd edition from Sant Feliu de Guíxols, right by the Mediterranean Sea, once again confirmed the excellent momentum of this event organized by RallyClassics.
The seaside town of Sant Feliu de Guíxols welcomed the rally for the first time, and will do so again on Friday with the start of the second stage. Then the convoy will head towards Empuriabrava, where the start of the third and final stage will take place.
126 teams from twelve countries are competing in this year’s edition, including crews from Argentina, Greece, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Poland, as well as from across Spain. After Thursday’s warm-up, participants will face the two main stages on Friday and Saturday, covering over 1,000 kilometres across 25 Regularity sections, many of them at night.
After the opening sections, the gaps at the top of the leaderboard are minimal, and the evolution and toughness of the rally will determine the contenders for victory.
