The Rallye d’Hivern XIII-Criterium Viladrau has been much harder than many expected.
The difficult conditions of cold and wet asphalt, fog, night, and fatigue, were the factors that retired almost a half of the participants.
41 teams of 80-popping, managed to overcome, with more or less penalizaciones- the first greatest regularity test of the year.

Xavi Faixedas and Juan Jordan (SEAT 124 FL) were the former team in Rallye d’Hivern, exceeding by 18 points over second-placed Cabaní-Matavaques (Golf GTi), and only 4 points over third, Lopez Sobrado- Sanchez (Golf GTi), which in turn trophy “Papi Babler” (more than 100 years between pilot and copilot) were carried.
In the last stage only 11 teams went without a vignette of the roadbook errors, which made overturn ranking, losing all drivers and Giralt (leader at the time), Poveda, Pallí, Salinas, etc … option until 31 equipment.

The Manera won the classification “Fathers and Sons” Lopez -Alabart were the best “Amateur” (no device), and Fornes-Berral placed his SEAT 600 in first position among the “Class F”.
The presence and participation (Autobianchi Garatge International) General Secretary of Sport of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Mr. Ivan Tibau, was a luxury for the event, and after finishing 22nd presided over the awards ceremony.
