From 5th to 7th March, 2026, Girona and Fornells de la Selva will host the 74th edition of the Rally KH-7 Costa Brava. Get ready for three days of the world’s finest classic motorsport at the historic rally no one wants to miss. 260 exceptional cars, legendary drivers, and some surprises. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

The oldest rally in Spain (awarded as the FIA EHRC Rally of the Year) returns with a new edition featuring some updates and more atmosphere and activities for fans than ever before.

As tradition dictates, the Rally KH-7 Costa Brava will open the season of the FIA European Historic Rally Championship and CERVH.

The rally is limited to 260 participating teams in the categories of Sporting, Regularity Sport (max 80 km/h), and Regularity (max 60 km/h).

From 10th November, 2025, an official registration period will open until reaching a limit of 150 entries. The remaining teams will be placed on a WAITING LIST. The payment date will determine each team’s position on the waiting list.

Another 110 places will be reserved for teams registered in the 2026 season of the FIA EHRC, as well as for teams from the CERVH and FCA. The remaining spots after the FIA, CERVH, and FCA registration deadlines will be filled with teams from the waiting list.

Any participant wishing to register for the Rally Costa Brava must submit the completed registration form available at www.rallyclassics.org, accompanied by proof of payment (via bank transfer or credit card) for the full registration amount to the Organizer’s bank account. Any incomplete application will not be accepted.

We have focused on offering an itinerary featuring the most loved stages, those that define the essence of the Rally Costa Brava. These are perfect stages for historic cars: well-paved, technical, and not too fast. This year, with adjusted start and finish times for the legs.

The first stage will take place on Thursday (Sporting category only) with the already famous night stage on the outskirts of Girona. Friday will include six stages on selective and highly technical roads, very similar to the 2025 route. The Saturday leg will be decisive, with six stages around Sant Hilari Sacalm, featuring the most iconic stages of this event—the ones that can never be missed.

The 74 Rally KH-7 Costa Brava marks a new era in the FIA European Historic Rally Championship, as it will be the first event to allow the participation of cars homologated between 1993 and 2000, such as WRCs and Kit Cars.

Participants must hold an FIA Historic Technical Passport (HTP) to compete in the new FIA EHRC championship for cars from 1993 to 2000, which features a clear category structure from Group A and Group N to WRC.

This is a great opportunity for the owners of these incredible cars to enjoy the Rally KH-7 Costa Brava.

Following tradition, the rally’s official poster once again features the work of the late Joan Aymamí and serves as a tribute to the winners of the rally 40 years ago. This time, the spotlight is on the legendary Lancia Delta S4 driven by Fabrizio Tabaton and Luciano Tedeschini, the 1986 winners.
